Touring Kayak

This is the kayak you want to pack up some camping gear and supplies to head out for a few nights. Great for exploring some of the larger lakes in Algonquin Park. They are 14.10 ft (15 m) in length and only 55 lbs (24 kg). However, they are not easy to carry over portages so these kayaks are best for staying on bigger lakes.

Recreational Kayak

Ideal for exploring lakes and enjoying relaxed day paddles, the recreational kayak is comfortable and easy to handle. Shorter and more maneuverable than canoes, they are a popular choice for recreational outings, with a bit of added storage for personal gear. Measuring 12 ft (5.4 m) in length and weighing only 40 lbs (18 kg), they are light on the water but not well suited to frequent portaging, making them best for use on gentle routes.
